Safe spaces are co-created, not as rigid walls of bricks, but rather, as a woven basket of grass. Baskets expand and flex to support what they must carry, effortlessly.
My Approach
Everything starts in the body. When we can calm the body, we can start working with the mind.
How It Works
1Breathe
We will spend a lot of time slowing down, noticing our breathing, and allowing our bodily experience to come to the forefront.
2Discern
Once we feel attuned, I'll ask you to share the stories or challenges you are struggling with.
We will practice allowing your body express emotion, differentiate parts through voice-dialogue and/or explore what hidden feelings may be present and in need of acknowledgement.
3Explore & Express
From here, we may take a more creative approach, where we lean into more movement expression or theraputic art or dream based practices.
Through her grounded presence and incredible facilitation skills, she creates a container of safety and trust that really invites you to show up fully, exactly as you are. She strikes a beautiful balance between unwavering presence and deep inquiry.

Working with Ali has been truly life-changing. Through her guidance, I’ve learned powerful physical and mental self-regulation tools that I now use regularly. She supported me in navigating both everyday challenges that came up, as well as deep-rooted trauma from over a decade ago. I feel more empowered, grounded, and better equipped to manage anxiety and interpersonal challenges, not to mention showing up as a better partner in my relationship.

After the session, this emotional heaviness was gone and things moved on to more energetic contractions that connected to archetypal images again. I think this breakthrough was possible because I felt safer with you than I had ever felt before in a therapeutic session. I'm still incredibly grateful for the hand that you have offered me."
